One of the most relaxing beachside communities in all of Florida, we know there are plenty of great ways to unwind in Palm Harbor. Whether you’re hitting the links at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, enjoying a bike ride on the Pinellas Trail, or just taking in the beauty of Honeymoon Island, we’re committed to helping you see it all clearly with healthy eyes.
We accept Medicare and most major medical insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Tricare, and United. While we do not accept Medicaid, Freedom, or Wellcare, we welcome many patients with a combination of Medicare and Medicaid. Coverage may vary for surgical centers where we operate, so we encourage you to contact us for specific details.
Understanding the difference between vision and medical insurance is crucial. Vision insurance, such as EyeMed, typically covers routine eye exams and prescriptions for glasses or contacts, while medical insurance handles medical eye issues like cataracts, glaucoma, or dry eye. Please note that some services, like refraction tests, may not be covered and require an additional fee.
At Gulfcoast Eye Care, we believe financial concerns should never stand in the way of clear vision. We offer flexible payment plans to make vision correction procedures like LASIK, cataract surgery, and advanced lens implants accessible for every budget. Options include no-interest plans if paid within 6–24 months or low monthly payments for up to 60 months. You can also use your FSA or HSA funds to save on taxes and maximize your investment in lasting vision improvement. Discover how affordable better vision can be!
